The Collingwood Summer Music Festival is proud to join 10 other amazing summer music festivals in a power-packed month of FREE concerts.

Let us introduce you to “July in January” – an online video chamber music festival born out of the desire to connect to audiences outside of the summer festival season, and reach classical music fans in new communities, both in Ontario, and beyond.

July in January launches Friday, January 28th hosted at www.classicalmusicfestivals.ca, and features FREE performances from eleven different festivals. For a deeper dive you can listen to conversations between the Artistic Directors and Eric Friesen, whom audiences know as the voice of classical music in Canada from his many years as host and producer for CBC and NPR public radio. Viewers will be treated to live music from:

· Festival of the Sound
· Collingwood Summer Music Festival; Daniel Vnukowski, AD
· Prince Edward County Chamber Music Festival
· SweetWater Music Festival
· Ottawa Chamberfest
· Thousand Islands Playhouse Studio “S” Series
· Music Niagara Festival
· Toronto Summer Music Festival
· Stratford Summer Music
· Westben
· Elora Festival

It’s free, open to anyone, anywhere, with one simple yet powerful idea: the power of great music is limitless.

No registration is required. Concerts will be available until February 28, 2022.
Viewers are encouraged to support the participating arts organizations by donating through links on the website.
