Voices of Ukraine is an a cappella choral concert celebrating the richness of Ukrainian musical heritage through performances of sacred works, contemporary compositions, and folk-inspired arrangements. The project invites audiences into a fully spatial musical experience. Singers unfold across the concert space, and at times encircle the listener entirely, weaving sound through the architecture and acoustics that make each venue unique. Each concert integrates cultural mediation, offering audiences historical and contextual insights into the repertoire, transforming every performance into both an artistic and educational encounter.
Les Rugissants present the series ARCHES : Ukrainian Presence. In Le rêve, A captive escapes in thought, returning to his home, his family… Is it a dream or harsh reality? This poignant work transcends music, subtly evoking the political constraints of Ukraine at the turn of the 20th century—an echo of struggles and hopes that still resonates today.
