An evening of timeless virtuosity with Daniel Vnukowski and the Odin Quartet. The program includes two world-premiere works – one by Ronald Royer, whose works have been performed by over 70 orchestras around the world and another work commissioned by the festival by Simon Bertrand, an award-winning composer based in Montreal. The program concludes with Robert Schumann’s monumental Piano Quintet in E-flat, Op. 44.

Enjoy an unforgettable evening starring world-class musicians, while enjoying handcrafted, sumptuous hors d’oeuvres and award-winning wine, set to a magical sunset with 180 degree views of the bay.

Tickets are $325/person and include a $225 tax receipt.

All funds are going toward supporting the 2024 Collingwood Music Festival, including its series of summer concerts and the expansion of its youth programs.

Passionate about chamber music, the Toronto-based Odin Quartet represents the diversity and the promise of youth in Canada. Named after the one-eyed Norse god, seeker of knowledge and holder of the wisdom of the world, the Odin Quartet explores the role of classical music in modern-day storytelling.

Since 2015, the ensemble is also dedicated to making classical music accessible to new generations of listeners, by promoting modern Canadian compositions, including those of cellist Samuel Bisson, alongside classical music literature.

The Quartet has recorded numerous film scores both locally and internationally and is regularly featured in musical projects by other Toronto artists.

….a stroke of genius!
