Help Us Design our Cover! Art Contest for Youth

ART Contest For Youth 16 and Under

For the cover of this year’s festival program booklet, we have created an art contest for youth 16 and under.

The deadline is April 21st, and the drop off point is at the Collingwood Public Library. The theme is MUSIC, of course.

The winner also gets a FREE digital pass to our 2021 summer season!

The Collingwood Summer Music Festival has just been awarded a grant by the Ontario Arts Council, becoming our sixth major partner for the 2021 season.

The Ontario Arts Council (OAC) is a publicly funded agency of Ontario’s Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries. The OAC’s primary purpose is to award grants to professional artists and arts organizations.

COVID-19 UPDATES:

The following stipulations have been put in place in order to ensure everyone’s safety during the 2021 Festival season:

      • All festival participants are required to register and provide contact tracing data prior to entering the building.
      • The festival board continues to meet virtually via ZOOM until further notice.
      • Each event is administered by a COVID-19 health representative who prepares a detailed, safety plan and establishes safe work zones prior to each performance/rehearsal.
      • The Festival is placing sanitizing stations at all entry-point locations within the church, including hand-held contactless thermometers, informative flyers and hand sanitizer.
      • Detailed instructions have been provided to our volunteers to ensure that all participants maintain a distance of at least two metres.

The Festival is also prepared to seek alternative outdoor venues, limit audience capacity accordingly or postpone the festival as required by public health authorities.

The Collingwood Summer Music Festival has been awarded $10,000 in funding by the Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund.

We are proud to acknowledge that the 2021 summer events of the Collingwood Summer Music Festival have been financially assisted by the Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund, a program of the Government of Ontario through the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport, administered by the Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund Corporation.

The Collingwood Summer Music Festival has been granted charitable status by the Canada Revenue Agency.
Charitable Registration: #749171088RR0001

The Collingwood Summer Music Festival is now officially recognized as a charitable organization and can write out its own tax receipts to donors. All donors who contribute over $20 will receive a tax receipt directly from the festival for the full eligible amount of their donation.
