Michael Herring JUNO-nominated double-bassist and composer Michael Herring leads or co-leads multiple ensembles including Way North, Peripheral Vision (JUNO-nominated, six albums), Vertigo, The Uplifters, and Harrington. He has performed with Joel Frahm, Ernesto Cervini, Kevin Breit, Ken Vandermark, Bucky Pizzarelli, Percy Sledge, Ernest Ranglin, and many others. He is a recipient of the Chalmers Arts Fellowship.
