Glohw is a trio group of classically trained musicians focused on fusing folk and pop styles within the context of the chamber music tradition. With this focus, pianist Matthew Shepperdson, cellist Will Smythe, and vocalist Hanne Poulsen create refreshing new compositions and arrangements, striving to bridge the gap between western art music of the concert hall and everyday popular music. Performing at venues such as the Isabel Bader Centre, and local Kingston and Collingwood bars, Glohw’s mission is to bring classical music to broader audiences.
